There was actually no particular reason to make this image for, i just felt something inside myself, absorb and express it through Illustrator; my most favorite tool...
I see this image as an expression of a kind of person who is soft, short of romantic, sensitive under a cold and mysterious appearance...
Yes, there is an idea within this image, a small and narrow space. The person seems to be cramped inside. You are right when saying being romantic is being like "flying" to vast space, free and maybe over optimistic...Generally, it is the way romance is...however in this situation, this is my idea to wrap the content in a narrow space to perform something missed, repressed and hidden within one's soul...
